Memorial Day Weekend & Parade
Celebrate the Unofficial Start of Summer!
Our stunning 50' swimming pool launches on Friday, May 22, and will be open to enjoy. We'll serve Sunday Brunch from 8am to 4pm, and tea service on Sunday and Monday from 2pm to 4:30pm. We strongly urge you to make a reservation as these services are quite popular.
Then, on Monday at 10am, the annual Litchfield Memorial Day Parade, led by local veteran organizations, will depart from just outside Belden and march through the center of town, followed by a memorial service to honor fallen American heroes. Belden House & Mews will serve lemonade, iced-tea and cookies on our lawn.
If you're staying with us for the weekend, consider visiting our sister-property, Troutbeck, for their annual Memorial Day celebration on Saturday, May 23 from noon to 4pm. It's a fire-cooked feast of meat and veg sourced from our favorite nearby farms. All are welcome and attendees will pay at the event itself.
