Mother's Day, Memorial Day & More
Kicking off May, this weekend The Ticking Tent - the original brocantes style market - returns to Litchfield County and we are holding six tickets for our Penthouse Suite (the rest of the hotel is at capacity this weekend).
We've removed the 2-night minimum, so consider grabbing your favorite shopping pals and coming 2 hours north of NYC, even if it's for just one night. The TTT tickets are included in your room booking for Penthouse with no additional charge.
Memorial Day is blissfully early this year! Belden's literal in-town oasis, our 50-foot swimming pool, debuts for the season on Friday, May 22, so book summer stays now, and note our mid-week offers - Overnight, 2-Night and Minibreak (3 nights), good through June 31.

Spring On Your Plate
Join us in May for spring dining. Our lunch menu has a particularly scrumptious Pastrami and sauerkraut sandwich on housemade marble rye bread, while our dinner menu boasts new offerings such as Hamachi with Green Almond & Muscat Grape; Braised Octopus with English Peas,Young Ginger & Lemon Balm; and sumptuous Green Garlic Linguine with Clams, Preserved Lemon and Sake; and our best selling two-part duck dish: Duck confit croquettes with ramp duck ravioli and a duck consomme with morel mushrooms and tortellini, followed by Duck Breast with ramp soubise, jus, sauteed ramps & morels.
This Friday, May 1, we will host an extra Happy-Hour-&-A-Half (430-6pm) to celebrate being open for ONE YEAR! Please join us for a glass of Champagne and some caviar in addition to our delightful oysters and "Tiny 'Tinis".
Begin with a hydrotherapy ritual of sauna, steam, and cold plunge before settling into Wildsmith Time, our two-hour treatment combining therapeutic massage, craniosacral holds, and reflexology.

MOTHER'S DAY HERE
Join us on Sunday, May 10 to celebrate your mother or a mother figure you adore. We'll offer a petite floral pop-up on our front porch with individual stems available to purchase, as well as a signature bouquet (9am-12pm).
Brunch will be served from 8am to 4pm. Our serene and elegant Afternoon Tea is served from 2pm to 4pm. And we'll add some festive additions to our Dinner menu for the occasion, such as, Strip Loin, Poached Lobster, Sauce Americaine ($52) and a caviar amuse bouche ($10 per person).
May 16-17: Trade Secrets
If you can't make it to The Ticking Tent, then join us for Trade Secrets -- the design, garden, craftsmanship tour de force founded by Bunny Williams to benefit Project SAGE.
