PRIVATE EVENTS
Executive retreats, milestone celebrations, and gatherings of all kinds belong at Belden
At Belden House & Mews, gatherings feel elevated and deeply personal. Set in the heart of Litchfield, our historic estate offers a design-forward backdrop for executive retreats, milestone celebrations, and meaningful time together.
Whereas our sister property Troutbeck speaks to pastoral expanse, Belden offers something different: proximity, intimacy, and a cultivated sense of place, walking distance to vibrant Litchfield shops, galleries and restaurants. Here, your group steps into a private residence in the center of town—surrounded by art, nature, and thoughtful hospitality.
Whether you are hosting a strategic off-site, a board retreat, or a family celebration, Belden provides spaces that are versatile, soulful, and distinctly your own. Learn more here and inquire below.

Accommodations
Belden House & Mews offers a collection of refined guest rooms and suites within our historic House and our modernist Mews.
Each room reflects the property’s European sensibility — understated, tactile, and deeply considered. Original architectural details meet contemporary design, with natural light, bespoke furnishings, and luxurious linens creating a setting that feels both intimate and expansive.
The Penthouse
Our Penthouse, on the third floor of Belden House, is our most elevated offering — a private sanctuary with 3 bedrooms with en suite baths, sweeping views, generous living space, and an expansive outdoor deck. Designed for those who value privacy and atmosphere, it offers a rare balance of sophistication and ease.
Guest Rooms & Suites
Across the House and Mews, rooms vary in size and orientation, yet share a consistent attention to detail — serene palettes, layered textures, and spa-inspired baths that echo the restorative ethos of our European-style bathhouse.
The result is not simply a place to stay, but a place to exhale.
